LONDON FALL 07: Christopher Kane

Fashion circles welcome almost newbie Christopher Kane with some opened arms, as he splashes into the big spotlight with his second collection. He won the Harrods Design Award after graduating, and confirmed his talent in an outrageously colorful hit in his first London Fashion Week (I really enjoyed that one even though many people hated it), now in his second entry in this event, he’s the guy everybody is talking about. Looks like you don’t need Anna Wintour’s favor to succeed in this business, as this scottish boy, after only a few months out of famous Central Saint Martin school, is not only working on his own label, but also with Versace (Donatella herself sponsored his school project collection), Swarovski and Topshop. I better not say I rather liked his first show cause I think I’m the only one in the world. Oops, I just did.
