HEIDI SLIMANE AND DIOR: BITTER BREAK-UP

Big news today in fashion. One of the big celebrity designers of today, leaves one of the biggest brands in the business.
Aparently Slimane wanted to have more control over his collections than Dior was willing to give, and they say he wanted to make his own woman label.
Substitute will be his former assistant designer Kris Van Assche (in the right photo, next to his Spring 07 collection).

I was never a fan of him, but truth is he made successful collections, and everyone seemed to love them, I just couldn't help but not being tempted by the oh-Pete-Doherty-is-our-god thing. We'll see how things go now.

TOM CRUISE IS IN LOVE WITH ME

    I love this 'title that has nothing to do with post' thing, isn't it stupid! ha. News is that I found a very funny youtuber. He's called William Sledd and he does a video blog called Ask a Gay Man, and yesterday he was the runner-up in the YouTube Awards 2007 or something like that, in the Best Series category. So the thing is that he deserves it, cause he's funny, he's gay and he's very funny. So I'm posting 2 of his videos, the first is so you know how he does things, and the second is so you die laughing, please don't invert the order cause the second is not that funny if you don't know him, oh, and you gotta watch then from beginning to end, you won't regret it I promise!! Oh yeah. Indeed. Another one. The Sex And The City star is going to collaborate with Steve & Barry's to launch a budget line, The Budget Fashionista revealed today. No photos yet though.

Her famous character Carrie Bradshaw has been a fashion icon for years, inspiring women all over the world, in fact, when I'm not sure if something is horrid or glamorous I ask myself: would Carrie make a cool outfit with it? 'Cause as I always say, she could elegantly match a shit in her head and make it look fabulous.

So OK, she's not Carrie, but she's not bad either, or say her stylist, and if the line reflects half of the talent the fictional columnist has, then it'll be spicy, and cheap!

    This is no ordinary bag, it actually charges your gadgets thanks to its solar powered USB port. All the outside is in fact made of solar panels and it's actually not that ugly, I kinda like it with that golden tone.
    It was created by some student of Iowa State University and will be sold by Solarjo, whatever that is, by approximately $300.
    I'm sold, the idea of having my cellphone always charged is great, but wait a minute, why don't they just make solar powered devices? Imagine not to have to ever charge your iPod! Too expensive I guess, maybe in a couple of years? Third generation iPhone? Can't wait!

 Yep Yep. She is. New celebrity collection, in case you were missing a new one, Scarlett Hearts Reebok debuts today at stores.
    My opinion? Fugly and expensive. I'm sorry I don't like being so judgmental and drastic but it can't be helped. I mean, I can take the expensive thing cause Reebok is not supossed to be H&M but c'mon, if I pay $50 for a fucking T-shirt it better be look cute, not like it came in a cereal box.
    You know, I love this actress as much as everybody does, so if this partnership buys her a new mansion in LA great for her, only I have to say what I think is the truth, plus I think she shouldn't have given her image to such an uninspired line. Now that I think of it, she's also the image of the cheap teen lip-gloss of L'Oreal, she wouldn't wear even dead, so i guess she's picky with her movies but when it comes to publicity she only minds the cash. I know publicity is always about the cash, but anyway.
