CHANNEL 2004 REALITY SHOW

Thanks to hilarious blogger brianboy, who I've talked about before, I got to discover this series of 5 episodes aired in french tv, I'm guessing in 2005. It shows everything that goes on between Karl Lagerfeld's sketches since the Fall/ Winter 2004 Houte Couture show. It's really really interesting if you have the slightest interest in the designer or the brand. It's posted on youtube, but only the two first episodes have sound, it's anoying but I saw the five anyway and I loved it, so I'm posting the first part of the first episode and if you like it you can watch the others too.

THE PRADA PARTY IN THE MARKET

    I just wanted to share this image with you because I talked about this party on april 16th, and I was so curious about how the market looked inside, cause I've been there a few times and it's like any tipical mediterranean market, very old and filled with stuff and people. So I found this on Vogue UK. Looks really really lovely, only I imagine a little bit awkward for guests like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, I can see them walking around and the other guests staring at them, as discretion is not one of spaniards' most prominent virtues.

    Well maybe the first look is a bit too radical but I miss my highlights. I'm confused cause people has such strong opinions about whether it suits me more to be blonde or brunette. Anyway I'm not the kind who listens to people in styling matters but in this case I don't know, I guess I'll have to be a brunette, truth is it's easier, I feel like Willy in Free Willy. Or something you know.

LILY ALLEN IS A DESIGNER

It,s official. You cannot be a star without your own clothing collection. So the british singer presents her own, called Lily Loves, for New Look. Here you have a sneak peek, and you can read all about it plus an interview in the Times Online story. Truth is I kinda like it, but I'm also sick of all these celebrities and theis lines, knowing how many talented designers are out there waiting for an oportunity.

FAMOUS PEOPLE IN VALENCIA ! / DEMI MOORE IS ONE LUCKY BITCH !

In case you don't know what Valencia is, it's the place where the doctor slapped my baby ass. Acording to WWD it's a "sleepy town", but hey what do they know?, it's actually the third city in Spain. OK that's not saying much but anyway just so you know. The ocasion was a big private dinner organised by Prada in the Mercado Central (Central Market), a building almost a hundred years old that's still active (my mother likes to buy there), to honour the opening of the 32nd America's Cup/Louis Vuitton Cup, the most prestigious sailing competition in the world, that this year is being held in the mediterranean city. It was a 1500 guests dinner, and even though they said maybe Brangelina would assist, they finaly didn't so the biggest stars of the night were Demi Moore and disturbingly beautiful husband Ashton Kutcher among other celebrities. Seriously that guy should be illegal, it's not fair cause then you look at your boyfriend and you feel like spitting him off. No good no good.

    This time the celebrity doesn't design the collection (assuming they do in any case), but only inspires it, so H&M is releasing a swimsuit line that "perfectly mirrors Kylie’s relaxed fun-loving demeanour as well as her show-stopping stage persona in a line that melds simple throw-on casual with glistening glamour".

     For prices that range from 10 to 30€ you'll get to buy (if you want to) "shimmering silver bikinis, vibrant water-inspired aqua blue and green swirl-print towels, bags and pareos as well as slip-on smock tops and billowy peasant skirts". The point of the collaboration is she starring in the campaign. Here you see some of the photos.
    She looks great, and the items look cute to me, if only the bikini bottoms a little too big, but maybe it's that I'm used to see my maybe too porny girlfriends, I don't know.
