I'm obsessed with Andy Warhol right now and because of this I've found this trilogy of nonsense movies that he produced, starring Joe Dallesandro (pictured above) who is by the way one of the most beautiful men you'll eve see, a ridiculously perfect young male that will have you hours googling images and videos of him till you realize it's 6 in the morning and you have one hour left to sleep before going to work. They also have travesties, drugs and hustlers. Like, how could you not like them, right?
If you've seen any of Andy Warhol's video works you know they're not so much movies as they're video art. These three movies though, directed by Factory regular Paul Morrissey, are a step closer to the traditional cinema language, but still they're very heterodox in they're rhythm and well, everything else. They're a mesmerizing and addictive trip trough some of the things Andy Warhol loved the most, which I named in the first paragraph. By the way did I mention Dallesandro is naked in them? Yeah, like half the time. Hahh... fuck today's special FX.
I haven't watched the first one, Flesh, in its entirety cause I'm downloading it and it's taking forever, but I know it'll be as good as the others. These video is from it and it's the first thing I saw from the trilogy. Maybe it's not for everybody, but I find it so enjoyable...
