A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN

I've finally seen it!! I hadn't seen it yet cause I was reluctant to watch it in spanish as here in the spains they're not showing it non-dubbed anywhere, so it was rather watch it in spanish, wait for the dvd or watch it shaky-cam-recorded on the internet. As you can imagine neither I could wait five months nor could I watch such a special to me movie in crap quality. So I gave in and went to the movies and let me tell you something: Oh my Colin Farrell. I'm still flying. The fashion, the fashion! You could seriously die of fashion with this movie. And the movie is just right and perfect and fun and great and I need to see it again cause I need it. Some reviewers should simply be fired to the streets. The film is just what it promises to be: Sex and the city The movie. Fans will die with it, non-fans girls and gays will love it and straight men will at least smile a couple of times (before falling asleep). I just can't recommend it enough.

GYPSY MODELS ARE OBVIOUSLY A GOOD IDEA

Vivienne Westwood had her show talked about by including alongside real models some real men, real Rome gypsy men that is. Cute, right? Maybe they're even gangster! Yum. Well some people can't sit tight and criticized it. I say bring more!

By the way I can't really tell which are models or people besides the obvious and the famous so I just put the gypsiest and the hottest. *blink*

PROM!

Last night I was invited to an american-prom-themed end of term party for the design school of my town and it was nice. Ya you can tell I'm not thrilled, it wasn't Oh My Colin Farrell, probably cause I wasn't drAAnk enough but it was cool just to meet new stylish people and take a few pictures of the oufits of some of 'em. The dressing could be from any decade as long as it was prom, which is exotic enough cause here in the spains we don't do proms. Some were on, some were freestyle. I wish I had taken more pictures cause there were some more great looks besides these, but it was the first time I was taking pictures in some crowded place and the fact that my camera is a common compact digital didn't help on my confidence. I regret I missed the most tradicional ones, the 50s and 60s ones, next time I'll be more confident!

Personally I decided I'd go like 2 hours before the thing, so I went with something I just felt like wearing, which I wasn't very happy about the whole night, cause it was like I'd love it in some model but it didn't look that good in me... Anyway whatever!

In the last one some guy is asking me about where to get drugs, they always ask me!

There are few things in life I'd enjoy more than watching the fabulossss Project Runway winner interviewing a bunch of straight black dudes. 

 

And he was hilarious in every one he did, and he did like 30. Overcoming the pain in the ass that are the ads between videos on mtv.com (seriously it's heart-breaking when they're in mean-mode), I think I watched all of them, I couldn't resist! Some of the gems include him meeting the Pussycat Dolls, and giving them the "flawless award", meeting SJP which he says is the "most fabulous moment" in his life (I hear ya sister), the funny moment when Lauren Conrad doesn't wanna talk to him (cause he panned her "fashion" collection), also memorable was JC Chasez trying so hard to look straight dudeing Christian. Beyond depressing though was when part of The Real World cast was interviewed and [alcoholic vigorexic redneck] Joey decided he was too good to talk to a fag. I'm not even gonna get into it cause you know when I get into this stuff I always end up writing a NYT type of lengthy article. To think they chose [alcoholic vigorexic redneck] Joey to go to the awards over lovely Will... bah.

As you know the French designer died yesterday, and so I thought I'd post a video about him as a little homage, since I have nothign to add to what have already been said. I wanted an interview but instead I found this amazing amazing footage from 1962, the year he showcased his first collection for his own brand after parting ways with Dior.

This sucks. Apparently Louis Vuitton has sued the imaginative artist who designed it (to help Darfur with 100% of the profits) so it's not on sale anymore, and I wanted one! Now I want it so bad... :(
