The other night was the Season 3 finale of The Hills, MTV's kinda-reality hit show. If you watched it you probably noticed the catchy song that sounded the last few minutes. As every other teenage girl out there, I searched for it like there was no tomorrow, only to finally find out that there's no human way (meaning legal nor illegal) to own the tune, as it's not out yet and it won't be until January 15 with the next Natasha Bedingfield's album, titled after the song.
So the only way to listen to it by now (until it leaks) is to watch the video of its run in The Hills' finale. Don't worry there's almost no talk on top of it. And *SPOILERS ALERT*: it's the last minutes of the show's finale, so if you care about this fact don't watch it.
★ UPDATE: The song is on the internet already so here you have it for your listening pleasure in all its glory (well actually if you download it it sounds much better), PRESS PLAY BELOW!!:
By the way, if you can't wait to see more of Lauren's adventures, it's been just announced that there will be 8 extra episodes of this season that will air next spring depicting her Paris trip.
☛ You can watch all the full episodes, including the finale here: THE HILLS.

Well the more I see it the more I love it. Her voice is such a gift that even on crack she fills the room with amazingness.

Mmmm where's Amy Winehouse? Bah, after all the rumors saying the British underground diva would make it to the September issue's cover, Mamma Anna went and chose the British D-list actress A-list trend setter instead, which apparently she can't have enough of, giving birth to probably the most boring cover in history of human kind. For the October issue maybe?
Here's Amy's new video anyway (directed by David LaChapelle):

Sorry, I just like powerful headlines.
You didn't think Kanye West would make some random come back, right? Well he did. His first video from next album "Graduation", "Can't Tell Me Nothing" which came out last May was totally forgettable even though the song is excellent and I love it. But! He's not one who's silly, his self-driven success proves this, so after the silent reaction to his expected-to-be-huge reappearance he then came up with a bigger, better, MTV shaking video: "Stronger". Just don't miss it, watch it in high quality here.
In collaboration with Daft Punk, this song is as crazy as you want an epic first single to be. The video, directed by Hype Williams (who also did "Can't Tell Me Nothing") and shot in Japan, is a dark post-apocalyptic manga-styled affair, only not as condensed as that sounds. Partly inspired by the anime movie Akira, West keeps on breaking (exploding) the tired rules of Hip-Hop. He's not content with making another hot girls in bikini shaking booty video, he wants to explore and discover, and truth is thank God we have him, he's the only rap star I really admire, as he's not only rich and ostentatious, which he is, but he does it in a more tasteful way than all those 50 Cents who can't do anything but showing off how big their cars and necklaces are and how many pussies they suck, and whose major achievement is the spread of homophobia. I don't say they're not talented, but I wouldn't buy a record of them even if I loved it.
So, about the Grill Glasses, you may say this is a month-old news, but what if I show you this pic from the weekend:
I think it's cool, as an artist you gotta always do new stuff in order to keep up the attention, so I'd rather have this than him hooking up with Paris Hilton in Star (no, there's no other alternatives).
I don't know who designed these super-deformed bitches [Update: turns out these are paper-made and were given to the crowd in a concert (Fun!)], but the Grill Glasses from the "Stronger" video are made by Alain Mikli. I browsed his website and I couldn't find any interesting sunglasses though. I know they're based in the 80's originals "Venetian Blind Sunglasses" (don't ask), apparently West found these and then asked the mentioned brand to make a new version for him, and looks like he loved the result cause he's been wearing them every time he's found the oportunity. The originals look like these in the "Stronger" cover:
Non of them are from irreverent fashion designer Jeremy Scott as they're saying in every blog, the ones from him are these:
...which are hot as a panther and can be spotted in his new video as well, about which Kanye said: "Stronger is also a fashion statement. Its for people like us, who dress fresh and like fly shit. And if you don't like the song, then more than likely you don't know how to dress either."
If you wanna buy the Grill Glasses, kill yourself you have to specially order them by phone (Alain Mikli free number 1-800-829-8032). Oh and they cost only $1500.

SHE'S NOT A MODEL ANYWAY
And. I love her latest song "Never Again".
And. She had the guts to fight her company to be able to do the album she wanted, instead of a more commercial one. Finally she had to agree to make a pop album next year or they wouldn't publish "My December". They're fucking sick, aren't they. Would you be able to force an artist to record an album she hated just to make money? God maybe I'm too good or something but I don't see myself doing that, even if she wanted to go heavy metal. I guess that's why I'm not the boss of Sony BMG X)))
UGH I'm too good to be the boss of anything! OMG That means I will always be poor! ;____(((

OK I don't know why this could be of any interest to anyone, but I love Disney movies even though I know they're the reason why we all have midlife crisis when we find out life is not a fairy tale and there's no prince for us, the reason why there are gay men in the world (those heroes are too hot not to like them! I even fell for Simba HAHA), and the reason why I won't ever find a good enough husband, but they've created some classics such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, etc. that will live in our hearts forever, and the songs are masterful.
So today I had this beautiful song in my head so I thought I'd share it with you. Skip it if you're a soul-less whore who can't see the pretty things in life.
BUT! You gotta listen to it properly, wait till you're home, you gotta turn up the volume until it touches you!
You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind.
When you think my blog couldn't get any gayer I go and do this HAHA

Of all the YouTube celebrities, he's the one I truly love. Sweetly talented and deeply huggable, he has such a charisma I just spent 5-6 minutes watching one of his videos which consists of him looking at the camera, period. But he's not a daily boringness teller, he's a singer-songwriter who sells on iTunes as well as an actor who starred on Shortbus, so join me in my endless admiration and respect for this brave, B-R-A-V-E, artist with a more than promising future (as in this kid will succeed even if I have to go myself company to company begging for a contract).
This is one of the latest in his series of honest, earthy, cute videos.
I. Need. To hug you.
Note: I don't even hug my closest friend so being the object of my hugging lust should be more valued than having a Grammy.
Second Note: And no, it's not like I lust him, cause he's obviously not my type even though he's a gorgeous and perfect creature.

YOU DIDN'T THINK SHE'D FINALLY MAKE IT AND YOU'D SEE IT WITH YOUR EYES, HUH?
Well I'm sorry but the day when somebody wears them better than me is yet to come...

We were so wrong about everything! You can actually move freely with those things on. First I thought they were made adapted to her body but notice the folds that form in the bottom, like her legs are shorter than the models'. Anyway great performance as always ; )

HAVE YOU SEEN IT YET?
It's totally crazy and I dig it so badly. It's called Lovestoned and is the fourth video from his latest CD.
I had been imagining a similar concept for a while (I'm very into music and music videos), so when I saw it today I was like: OMG that's what it looks like when it's done! The final part is kind of unwanted and tries to ruin the whole but it can't succeed. Really really inspired and well done video, I'm so proud of whoever did it! ;)
